CA Consumer Finance is committed to financial education and accompanying its customers. In France, the group initiated a plan to prevent excess debt in July 2012 as a result of which the Customer Support Agency was created a year later. Its first objective is to respond to a major social phenomenon, difficult for both customers and the company, and to provide a concrete response to these situations. In concrete terms, it identifies financially vulnerable customers and assesses their personal situation and budget, using tools developed by CA Consumer Finance’s teams.

In Italy, Agos runs a financial education project ‘A tu per tu’ for students via a dedicated video channel. Staff at CreditPlus Bank in Germany are also involved in financial education programs helping younger people to learn how to manage their budgets responsibly.

A company of multiple commitments

Committed to its employees, CA Consumer Finance has developed actions in favour of equal opportunities through mentoring and tutoring projects.

As a sign of its long-term social engagements, the company has adopted Crédit Agricole Group’s social responsibility programme, FReD. In terms of eco-citizenship, CA Consumer Finance protects the environment by ensuring that paper is used responsibly and by facilitating employee car-pooling.

For the eighth consecutive year, CA Consumer Finance in France provided call centre facilities and enthusiastic teams to the AIDS charity Sidaction. €10 were contributed to Sidaction for each hour volunteered by employees.

In China, GAC Sofinco sponsored in 2014 ‘Le fil rouge’ music and dance show involving able-bodied and disabled French and Chinese performers.

In Morocco, Wafasalaf has been awarded the CGEM Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) accreditation for its environmental commitment to reduce energy consumption, and for its social commitment to support non-profit organisations working on the public education domain.

Germany’s CreditPlus Bank in collaboration with its partner Suzuki organised fund-raising for children with cancer at two motorbike races. At each event, one of the motorbikes was auctioned and the money donated to the special cause.
