Jean - Marie Malherbe

  • Deputy CEO in charge of industrialization and synergies 

Career

Jean-Marie Malherbe began his career with the Crédit Agricole Group at the Caisse régionale de Normandie in 1994. He held various customer-related positions – in marketing, communications, sales – and participated in the merger of three Regional Banks and the IT system changeover between 2005 and 2007.

He then joined Crédit Agricole in Brittany as deputy to the CEO to manage and strengthen cooperation between the 4 Regional Banks in the region. In 2009, he was appointed Chairman of the Management Board of Square Habitat in Brittany. He held that position for three years before becoming Deputy CEO of Crédit Agricole Sud Méditerranée.

From 2016 to 2019, he was Deputy General Manager of the Fédération Nationale du Crédit Agricole (FNCA) where he managed the development of the innovation strategy within the Regional Banks. He also led the launch of the Villages by CA network in France and abroad.

In 2019, he joined Agos in Italy, a joint venture between CA Consumer Finance and Banco BPM, where he was appointed Co-CEO in charge of Transformation and Support Functions.

Aged 60, Jean-Marie Malherbe is a graduate of the Paris School of Business.
