François Edouard Drion

François Edouard Drion joined the Crédit Agricole Group in April 2008 as Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Serbia (formerly Meridian Bank). In December 2011, he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Crédit Agricole Egypt.

In September 2017, he became Head of International Retail Banking, in the Crédit Agricole S.A. Group. In his role and as a director of Crédit Agricole Italia, he developed a sound knowledge of the Italian banking market.

François Edouard Drion has joined Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance on 1 January 2022 as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Agos, the group's subsidiary in Italy.

Prior to joining the Crédit Agricole Group, François Edouard Drion spent fourteen years at BNP Paribas, notably as Head of Middle East Retail Banking, and as Managing Director of BNP Paribas in Algeria.

François Edouard Drion is a graduate of Sciences Po Paris and holds a postgraduate degree in Finance from Paris Dauphine University.
