INDIVIDUAL CUSTOMERS

Tailor-made solutions for your projects

Customised innovative solutions, proximity and responsibility are at the heart of Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance's approach. We offer simple, clear and reasonable access to various forms of consumer credit and insurance, as well as tailor-made support for each project and each customer profile.

16.7 million

Offers tailored to our customers' projects

At Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance, we help our customers make their projects real through a range of personalised offers and services.

For one-time purchases, the versatility of the personal loan

A financing solution with a fixed monthly installment and a fixed term. There are two options: a personal loan provided directly, and loans at the point of sale directly, which are related to the asset sold.

To smooth out spending, the flexibility of revolving credit

Available directly or at the point of sale, revolving credit provides customers with a sum of money that can be reused as it is repaid to finance purchases. The amount made available determines the maximum repayment period.

To make budgets easier to handle, the simplicity of debt consolidation

Loan consolidation is a single loan that replaces several existing loans. It makes payments easier and clearer for lenders.

Leasing packages in line with new consumption methods

For a growing number of consumers, using an asset (car, high tech, etc.) does not necessarily mean owning it. To meet these new expectations, we offer long-term leasing packages with or without the option to buy.

How does leasing work?

  • Leasing with an option to purchase can be used to buy a vehicle or another asset. The customer receives the asset in return for a monthly rental payment and may buy it at the end of the contract, if so wished.
  • Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance offers both leases with the option to buy and long-term leases to finance the purchase of a vehicle. Long-term leases allow the customer to have use of the vehicle and include services such as maintenance.

To protect yourself and your property: insurance and personal risk solutions

We also offer a diversified range of insurance products covering a large number of needs and life stages.

  • An asset purchased via a consumer credit solution can be insured through solutions distributed by our partner brands,
  • Assets in France or abroad (car, home, etc.) can be insured,
  • To prepare for the future, protect your image and plan ahead for more difficult times with our personal risk solutions (e-reputation insurance, funeral cover, legal protection, etc.)

Supporting our customers in their choices

As a responsible player in the consumer credit market, our loan acceptance procedures help our customers make informed choices. Our teams inform them of the characteristics of the products they are applying for commitments they make, and help them set repayments that are appropriate to their budget.

In France, Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance runs a dedicated support agency for customers in financial difficulties. We offer them appropriate solutions based on a personalised analysis of their financial situation. In addition, our financial education efforts allow us to pre-empt difficulties.

The strength of a group in the consumer credit market

Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance is one of the top 3 consumer credit players in Europe, with almost 10,000 employees in 17 European countries, Morocco and China. We are part of the Crédit Agricole Group, the largest financier of the French economy and one of the leading banks in Europe. CA CF 2020, is Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance’s strategic plan, with one of its main objectives being to strengthen synergies between Crédit Agricole’s local banks in France (Regional Banks, LCL, BforBank), Italy (Crédit Agricole Italia) and Morocco (Crédit du Maroc).

Our aim? To support these banks as they work to become leaders in the consumer credit market, with a 5% annual target increase for their account in assets under management.

Innovative offerings to boost our partners’ growth

Developing new products and services means we can satisfy the expectations of customers who are looking for solutions that are right for them, and generate additional income for our partners.

Digital technology: fast-tracking loan sales

We are capitalising on the digital transformation that we are undergoing with our automotive partners and specialist distributors to offer cutting-edge solutions to banking networks in the Crédit Agricole Group, to offer benefits to their customers such as paperless online processes, digital signatures on tablets, and the conversion of supporting documents using OCR. Bespoke training courses are at the core of this co-constructive approach, during which our customers also benefit from our innovative products and services, transparent communication and experience.

Support for sales teams

Our teams provide training to sales staff in the specifics of multichannel consumer credit, and support them while they set up their sales and marketing solutions, most notably via the use of a hotline and support services. This unique expertise is something that makes Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance stand out from the rest of the market.

With the Digi Conso 3.0 project in France, we are completely redesigning the consumer credit process for Regional Bank and LCL customers and advisors. Objective: to take out a loan in 15 minutes.

In Italy, our subsidiary Agos has launched a new 100% online offer, from application to loan completion, for Crédit Agricole Italia network customers, which has enabled them to make super-fast online loan applications a reality.

DISTRIBUTION AND E-COMMERCE PARTNERS

Solutions to support sales and build customer loyalty

The major challenge for us is to help our distribution and e-commerce partners speed up their customers' projects, both in-store and online. Developing innovative customised solutions, supporting teams and providing operational support are the pillars of our support approach, which our partners appreciate.

6,700

Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance distribution partners

Improving sales and building customer loyalty

For "classic" distribution, viewing products online or on mobiles before purchasing increases the conversion rate during the store visit. 60% of consumers begin their purchasing process online before finishing in-store. Our digital expertise is key in transforming sales and building customer loyalty for our 6,700 partners. Furthermore, whether in-store or online, quick and easy access to consumer credit increases the value of the average shopping basket.

Consumer knowledge is also at the heart of our partner's loyalty-building actions. That's why we offer them solutions to collect, score, and manage customer data, in the utmost respect for the new European General Data Protection Regulation.

Helping increase customer satisfaction by supporting sales teams

Thanks to digital technologies, consumers are increasingly informed, increasing their expectations of in-store sales teams. To fulfil these new expectations, Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance offers training for our partner's sales forces so they are equipped with adequate tools and remain up-to-date with today's digital practices.

Optimising customer journeys through digital technologies

Both online and in-store, consumer credit is a powerful sales lever. Developing and rolling out innovative tools and solutions like 100% digital applications, electronic tablet signatures and fast order solutions such as click & connect and connected buttons, have demonstrated Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance's digital know-how. We also advise our partners on how to optimise their online sales site's user experience to improve sales.

Supporting our partners' international development

As a leader in the European consumer credit market, our international stature gives us a detailed, broad knowledge of specialised distribution through the 19 countries in which we operate. This gives us a decisive competitive advantage in supporting our partners in developing their current markets and expanding into new ones. Our know-how in digital services and solutions also helps open up new customer segments in e- and m-commerce.

A major player in automotive financing

Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance is a major player in automotive financing thanks to its joint ventures with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA Bank) and Chinese carmaker GAC (GAC-Sofinco). It has also entered into business partnerships with numerous manufacturers and benefits from a dedicated brand and network in France, Viaxel. It is present in all market segments and offer solutions fitting each partner's requirements and specific concerns.

Easy access to credit

In a highly competitive automotive market, offering efficient and useful services to our customers gives it a decisive competitive advantage. Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance's expertise allows it to respond to manufacturers' and distributors' sales challenges by providing them with financing solutions appropriate to their markets and customer needs. Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance also offers reliable and personalised loan support, with solutions tailored to consumers' repayment capacities.

Quick answers to support sales

Customers now expect quick answers to their financing applications. Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance is rolling out an integrated and smooth digital strategy focused on partners expectations. Its aim is to finalise car loan sales in a very short time, as simply as possible. Thanks to the use of digital tools, the solutions offered to its manufacturing and distributor partners are fast, smooth and reliable at all levels of the value chain.

At Agos, automated application processing

After introducing electronic signatures for car loan applications, Agos continues to innovate by automating car loan application processing. By studying customer profiles, dealer performance and credit risk assessment, Agos can now automate the processing of certain files, thus meeting the automotive sector's expectations.

Meeting customers' new expectations

100% digitised procedures

From tablets for the sales teams to digitising our processes and using electronic signatures, our digital innovations help offer our partners fast, smooth and reliable solutions throughout the customer journey. This expertise convinced Chinese e-commerce leader Alibaba to join forces with our GAC-Sofinco automotive joint venture in China.

New solutions, new markets

We also supplement our financing solutions with leases with an option to buy and long-term leasing offers, such as those offered by FCA Bank through its subsidiary Leasys. Meanwhile, our joint venture with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is expanding the range of brands it serves and is strengthening its position at the top end of the market, with Ferrari, Maserati, and Jaguar Land Rover, Aston Martin and Morgan. In Portugal, our subsidiary Credibom offers simple and innovative solutions to Mazda customers to renew their vehicles and boost the sales management cycle.

Credibom, a subsidiary of CA Consumer Finance in Portugal, has successfully tested 100% digital loan applications with its private customers. It is the first financial institution in the country to offer its customers this simple and innovative solution that allows them to apply for a loan online and sign their contract securely, from any terminal. Credibom has reduced the necessary file administration time from 10 days to 1.

The leasing boom

Driving a new vehicle and reducing maintenance procedures is a priority for a growing number of professional and individual customers. Leasing gives drivers access to a new vehicle with or without an option to buy and, depending on the chosen solution, includes maintenance services.

  • Leasing with an option to purchase can be used to buy a vehicle. The customer uses their vehicle in return for a monthly rental payment and may, if they so desire, buy the vehicle at the end of the contract.
  • For individuals and company car fleets, Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance offers long-term leases. Long-term leases have two advantages: they provide access to the vehicle and include services such as maintenance.
  • In Portugal, FlexiMazda, introduced in 2015 as a leasing agreement offered by Credibom, now also exists in the form of a car loan agreement. It has three advantages: the customer can obtain a new vehicle while keeping their monthly payments at the same level. To promote FlexiMazda to dealerships and customers, Mazda and Credibom have simultaneously launched the new Mazda 3 Diesel 2016 and the new loan offering.
  • Leasys, a subsidiary of FCA Bank, offers leasing solutions in numerous countries and on Amazon.

Crédit Agricole Cariparma and Leasys, the mobility and leasing company of FCA Bank, have entered into an agreement to distribute Leasys' services at Crédit Agricole Cariparma's local bank branches and corporate car fleet markets. The branches will thus have access to the Leasys Touch platform, an innovative tool that quickly prepares and compares personalised quotes based on customers' needs and characteristics.

Successful sales teams

In China, GAC-Sofinco has rolled out online training modules for financial advisors at partner car dealerships. These new training courses, in the form of interactive online videos, help develop knowledge of products and sales tools to improve the quality of support and advice given to customers.

FCA Bank, a powerful joint venture with Ferrari

FCA Bank, the joint venture between CA Consumer Finance and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA), has taken a majority stake in Ferrari Financial Services AG. The partnership extends to three main European markets: Germany, Switzerland and the United Kingdom. This diversification of the high-end segment offers good prospects for development.
