Charitable commitments

Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance makes a commitment to be socially responsible towards his employees: the equality of the rights and the chances is indeed a striking point of the action of the Human resources. The "sustainable" commitments also spread via the specific support for the financing of " green " and environmental solutions.

Career development

Created on 1 Aril 2010 out of a merger between Sofinco and Finaref, Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance is committed to providing support to the men and women of the newly created entity. These measures extend from developing training and employability to the use of career management tools, in particular within the crédit Agricole Group and internationally. Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance promotes worker exchanges between countries.

Respecting the environment

By taking this stance, the Group goes far beyond implementing a Group-wide compensation policy.
Even though the activities of Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance by definition have scarcely any polluting effect on the environment, the company needs to develop an active policy which gets translated not just into internal action but also into support for the development of green products in the financing of home improvements: solar panelling, low-consumption boilers, insulation, etc.

Promoting diversity and the social commitment of its employees

Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance makes efforts to promote diversity, using programmes focusing on equal treatment regardless of origin, sex, age or handicap. Through recruitment, sensitivity training, mini-courses or even the signing of charters, Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance makes its commitment evident and highlights its desire to proceed with measures previously begun in this area. Finally, different mechanisms have been put in place to gauge employees’ satisfaction and on-the-job welfare.
Employees’ involvement in projects of a social nature is also facilitated. At the initiative of managers, CreditPlus in Germany allows employees to work for one week as a volunteer in social service institutions.
