Insurance

With its culture of catering to the specific needs of each partner retailer, Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance is constantly innovating in its insurance business. This allows us to forge new partnerships and expand internationally.

Solid skills

Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance has long-standing experience in insurance. In the 1980s we launched a brokerage business and distributed products for other insurers before setting up our own companies at the end of the 1990s. Today, Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance has a broad product range, ranging from creditor insurance on consumer loans (distributed via our partner retailers) and health and welfare protection (hospitalisation, death/disability) to property insurance, both in France and abroad. These products are distributed mainly through Crédit Agricole Assurances entities such as Predica, Pacifica and CACI.

Our strength and corporate culture derive from catering to each retailer's own needs

A specialist in bespoke credit, Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance uses the same approach for insurance. Being attentive to our partners’ needs, we design innovative solutions that enable us to provide products that suit their businesses, their own customers’ expectations and their sales volumes.

Constantly expanding and innovating

In 2009 Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance launched new insurance products for partner retailers. We enhanced the “Mandarine” card for the home furnishing store La Maison de Valérie by adding a re-vamped creditor insurance cover. We also designed the “express multi-trade-in” plan for the electronics retailer Surcouf. This simple product allows customers to insure all the high-tech products they acquire (up to a maximum of five) instead of having to take out separate cover for each one.
